Scope
This course is designed for Offshore Emergency Helideck Team Members as intensive training to allow them to respond to emergency situations on an offshore installation. This is accomplished through a combination of both theoretical and practical exercises.

General Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will be deemed competent to take up the role of an Offshore Emergency Helideck Team Member.

    • Controlling Helicopter Incidents

    • Dangerous Goods by Air
  • Practical Exercises:
    • Hose & Hose Fittings Relevant to Helicopter Operations
    • Breathing apparatus Techniques
    • Casualty Handling
    • Use of Mobile Unit Helicopter Fire Extinguishers
    • Operation of Monitors
    • Gaining Access to the Helideck in Emergency Situations
    • Rescue exercises with and without SCBA & External and Internal Fires
    • Consolidation Exercises
