Scope

This OHS training is a collaborative program with the Ministry of Manpower to prepare OHS experts to help develop OHS in company. It is a form of selection for certain technical personnel who have taken courses for OHS officers (safety officers) or OHS instructor courses who are interested in becoming OHS experts as referred to in Law 1 of 1970 and its implementing regulations with a minimum duration of 120 hours or ± 2 weeks.

General Course Objectives:
By the end of his OHS Expert programme, participants will be able to:
  • Explain the duties, authorities, and responsibilities of OHS Expert.
  • Explain the rights of workers in the field of OHS.
  • Explain to employers that OHS efforts are profitable for the company.
  • Explain the purpose of OHS management system (OHSMS).
  • Describe the accident reporting system.
  • Analyze accident cases, knowing the causal factors and preparing accident reports to related parties.
  • Get to know Advisory Committee OHS, duties, responsibilities, and authorities of the organization.
  • Get to know OHS guidance and supervision at the corporate, national, and international levels.
  • Identify objects that require OHS supervision.
  • Understand and demonstrate the requirements and compliance with laws and regulations in the workplace.
  • Understand and demonstrate the requirements for occupational safety and health in the workplace.
  • Understand and demonstrate the audit process and its scope to measure the level of achievement.

  • Identification of K3 Supervision Objects (Mechanical, Building Construction, Steam & Pressure Vessel Sectors; Electrical and Fire Prevention Sectors; and Occupational Health and Work Environment Sectors)
  • Facility/Plant Visit to each of their own company
  • Presentation & Evaluation of Facility/Plant Visit

  • Indonesian Citizen
  • Min. diploma or bachelor's degree (D3/S1).

  • Letter of Employment from Employer.
  • Copy of ID card.
  • Police Clearance Certificate (Surat keterangan Catatan Kepolisian/SKCK).
  • Laptop with a stable internet connection.
  • Statement letter to fully attend the blended training.

Certificate:
All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive
  • Certificate and License from Kemenakertrans RI.
  • Letter of Appointment as Occupational Health and Safety Expert (where applicable)
