Scope:
An accident is an unforeseen and unplanned event or circumstance, often with lack of intention or necessity. It usually implies a generally negative outcome which may have been avoided or prevented had circumstances leading up to the accident been recognized, and acted upon, prior to its occurrence.

Once an accident happens, it must be reported immediately to the appointed person for further investigation and to the government as per legislation. Accidents are investigated in order to determine the cause or causes of an accident or series of accidents so as to prevent further incidents of a similar kind.

General Course Objectives & Content:
Upon completion of the course, delegates will understand the accident reporting system, including its legislation in Indonesia; delegates will be able to calculate accident statistic and perform accident analysis for identifying the root cause and determine the control action for preventing the same accident from occuring in the future.
