Aberdeen Drilling International Aim & Objectives:
This highly interactive and engaging course forms a key component of continuous professional development for any employee who requires an understanding of the drilling process and equipment. The aim of the course is to develop awareness of the technology behind the drilling process and function, in order that non-drilling personnel can engage in effective, value adding conversation with their drilling colleagues. read more

Aberdeen Drilling International Aim & Objectives:
This HPHT Drilling course provides a comprehensive understanding of the well design and operational requirements for HPHT wells. It develops the principles of HPHT well engineering from rig selection through well control and HPHT considerations for casing design, drilling fluids and cement formulations. The course draws on case studies for classroom discussions. read more

Aberdeen Drilling International Aim & Objectives:
This 2-day Essentials of Plug & Abandonment course aims to provide participants with an enhanced understanding of the principles, methodologies, practicalities and risks associated with well abandonment. The course offers a review of the underlying principles of well abandonment before considering the concepts involved in a temporary abandonment (suspension) and subsequent abandonment requirements needed for an increasing inventory of ageing wells. read more

Aberdeen Drilling International Aim & Objectives:
The purpose of this course is to provide well engineers, drilling supervisors and drilling personnel with the knowledge and understanding of the causes of stuck pipe and the means to reduce or eliminate stuck pipe as a significant cause of lost time incidents and related costs. read more

IWCF Aim & Objectives:
The aim of the IWCF Level 2 Drilling Well Control course is to provide candidates with an understanding of the features of drilling a well and the fundamental principles involved in maintaining well control. read more

IWCF Aim & Objectives:
The aim of the IWCF Level 2 (Introductory) Well Intervention Pressure Control course is to develop the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of well intervention pressure control. The course includes compulsory training and assessment in Completion Equipment and Completion Operations; with optional modules including Coiled Tubing Operations, Wireline Operations, and Snubbing Operations (at least one of the optional modules must be selected). read more

IWCF Aim & Objectives:
The IWCF Level 3 Drilling Well Control course is essential training for those currently working in a role that is expected to shut-in a well. The course aims to reinforce and improve the candidate’s existing knowledge and appreciation of the various stages of shutting-in a well; from kick detection to shutting in the well, to monitoring once the well is shut in and monitoring the well-kill operation. read more

IWCF Aim & Objectives:
The aim of the IWCF Level 3 (Operator) Well Intervention Pressure Control course is to develop the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of well intervention pressure control. The Level 3 course focuses on the duties and responsibilities of an individual working at operator level. The course includes compulsory training and assessment in Completion Equipment and Completion Operations; with optional modules including Coiled Tubing Operations, Wireline Operations, and Snubbing Operations (at least one of the optional modules must be selected). read more

IWCF Aim & Objectives:
The IWCF Level 4 Drilling Well Control course is essential training for those working in wellsite supervisory roles and for office-based personnel that are primarily involved in the operational decision-making process and/or well design. The course aims to build on Level 3 course content (including kick detection and shut-in) and focus on more complex aspects of well control and well kill methodology. read more

IADC Aim & Objectives:
The IADC WellSharp Driller Level Well Control course is essential training for those currently working in a role that is expected to shut-in a well. The course aims to reinforce and improve the candidate’s existing knowledge and appreciation of the various stages of shutting-in a well; from kick detection to shutting in the well, to monitoring once the well is shut in and monitoring the well-kill operation. read more
