Scope
Business owners and managers are obliged to prevent, reduce and extinguish fires in the workplace, and extinguish fires in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia KEP-186 / MEN / 1999 concerning Firefighting Units in the Workplace.

The obligation to prevent, reduce and extinguish these fires is the establishment of a firefighting unit in the workplace, and the organize a fire management training and practice drills. The firefighting unit consists of:
  • Fire Officer (Firefighting Level D)
  • Firefighting Team (Firefighting Level C)
  • Firefighting Unit Coordinator (Firefighting Level B)
  • HSE Expert on Firefighting (Firefighting Level A)
General Course Objectives:
Upon completion, participants are expected to be able to:
  1. Assess the level of risk & minimize losses that arise
  2. Design a fire protection system
  3. Evaluate the concept of a fire protection system

  • Development of occupational safety & health programs
  • Fire risk assessment
  • Fire protection system design based on a performance basis
  • Fire model and simulation (using computer visualization)
  • Principles of Cost Analysis & Valuation Methods of Investment for Fire
  • Protection against explosion hazard
  • Smoke control system
  • Construction of buildings related to fire prevention
  • Environmental impact on fire suppression
  • Evaluation of fire protection systems
  • Material Properties Testing for Building Products and testing the fire resistance of building structural components
  • Internal fire audits
  • Practice designing fire protection systems & fire models
Prerequisites:
  • Indonesian Citizen
  • Valid Firefighting Level D, C, and B certificates
  • Copy of latest educational certificate (D3/S1 or SLTA with experience in operating/using a laptop)
  • Digital photo, professionally attired, on red background.
  • Valid Medical Certificate from Doctor/Clinic.
  • Employment letter from current employer.
  • Copy of ID card (KTP).
