Scope
Ammonia is a highly hazardous substance commonly used in industrial processes. Its corrosive, toxic, and potentially flammable nature poses serious risks to health and safety through inhalation, skin or eye contact, and accidental ingestion. This course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of ammonia hazards and equips them with the knowledge and skills to implement effective safety measures when storing, handling, or processing ammonia.

This program is designed for workers, supervisors, and technical personnel involved in operations where ammonia is present, including manufacturing, refrigeration, and chemical processing industries.

General Course Objectives:
By the end of the Ammonia Safety course, participants will be able to:

  2. Understand applicable standards, regulations, and industry guidelines for ammonia safety.
  3. Apply best practices for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of ammonia.
