Falck Nutec, a global provider of safety and survival training, has
acquired a minority shareholding in P.T. Samson Tiara, the leading
provider of safety and training services in Indonesia.
The investment will facilitate the transfer of technology between Falck Nutec
and P.T. Samson Tiara.
“We are delighted to welcome Falck Nutec as a shareholder in P.T. Samson Tiara
and are positive that this new cooperation will be mutually beneficial to both
companies and our customers in the Indonesian oil & gas and petrochemical
industries”, commented Mr. David Donaldson, Managing Director of P.T.
Samson Tiara. This investment will pave the way for a wide range of
internationally accredited safety and emergency response training to be offered
locally.
Equally, Mr. Wan Shukry, Regional Managing Director, Falck Nutec Far East Asia,
is enthusiastic about the cooperation and takes the view that the coverage of
the Indonesian market in cooperation with P.T. Samson Tiara represents an
important step forward for the Falck Nutec Group by expanding the market
coverage in the Far East Asian region, where Falck Nutec currently operates
training centres in Singapore, East and West Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
