Workplace Fire Safety - Course Code 3010

• Aim & Objectives:
  This program is designed to provide personnel working in Office, Industrial, commercial, or institutional facilities who are not members of an Emergency Response Team with a basic understanding of fire hazards in the workplace, preventative measures and appropriate responses to a fire emergency. Trainees will develop skills associated with the use of fire extinguishing devices and alarm systems primarily to safely evacuate themselves and others from a fire situation in the workplace.
  
  The equipment (called FirePan™) for practical sessions is as close to the real thing as possible, it is also safe. Internal safety mechanisms and a single button remote control place FirePan™, a certified and approved gas fuelled training device, entirely within the control of the instructor. Flame height is adjustable, with no danger of undesired flame spread. And there is no harmful run-off or atmospheric contamination, allowing clean training at almost any location. Also, this training comes to you for minimal disruption of your normal work schedules.
  
  Instruction on the course is comprised of lectures, discussion, demonstrations and practical exercises to achieve the objectives. Practical training will conducted in the use of portable fire extinguishers.

• Note:
  The clients should provide classroom, if available or other suitable quiet area (chairs, desks, whiteboard,TV/video and overhead projector), parking lot or any location with 15 meters clearance for practical and course equipment as needed.

  All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive
