Tropical – Further Offshore Emergency Training (T-FOET) - Course Code 1003

• Scope:
  The survival of an offshore worker can depend on his knowledge of what to do in an emergency and how to prevent an emergency from occurring. This course trains the worker to prevent emergencies and to respond to emergency situations, which may occur when working on an offshore installation. This course is designed for persons working on offshore installations in tropical regions. The course covers all the mandatory requirements for the issue of certificates specified in the OPITO common induction standards. The course also covers all the mandatory requirements for the issue of certificates for offshore safety training in Indonesia.
  
  
• General Course Objectives:
  During the course delegates will gain a basic level of understanding and awareness of safety and emergency response procedures on offshore installations.
  
  
• Course content:
  - Update on Offshore Safety
  - Helicopter Emergency Procedures & Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)
  - Sea Survival
  - Fire Fighting & Self Rescue
  
  
• Course Duration: one (1) day
  
  
• Course Validity: 4 years
  
  
• Course Requirements:
  All delegates must be in possession of a valid medical certificate and a valid OPITO approved (T-)BOSIET or (T-)FOET certificate
  
  
• Course Venue:
  Samson Tiara’s training center:
  - Cilegon, Banten
  - Senipah, Kalimantan Timur
  
  
• Course Fee: On request
  The course fee covers: Transportation to/from station pointed in Jakarta to/from the training center at Cilegon, Banten, student’s workbook, and usage of training equipments, certificate/ID card, OPITO registration and lunch on days of training. The course prices exclude PPN/VAT 10%.
  
  
• Course Equipment:
  PT Samson Tiara will provide coverall, shower kits (towel, soap and shampoo), water shoes, safety glasses, safety helmet and safety shoes for fire fighting practical, except personal swimming suits or shorts for water exercises during practical.
  
  
• Certificate:
  All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive
  • A PT Samson Tiara / Survival Systems Asia certificate approved by OPITO for Tropical – Further Offshore Emergency Training (T-FOET) - Course Code 1003; and
  • A laminated wallet course qualification card.
