Tropical - Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (T-HUET) - Course Code 5195

• Aim:
  The aim of this course is to train students to react to and to survive a helicopter ditching at sea. The training is comprised of classroom sessions on aspects of offshore helicopter operations, safety and survival equipment, procedures for ditching preparation, upright helicopter evacuation, and inverted (underwater) egress techniques. The practical aspect of the course is surface and underwater evacuation exercises conducted in the Modular Egress Training Simulator™ (METS™). The METS™ utilizes functional replicas of the emergency exits installed in the helicopters currently flying offshore in Indonesia. This gives the student realistic and 'State of the Art' training with the same type of equipment they will be functioning in a real situation.

  13:00-16:00 Escape training session (METS™), using mechanical and push out windows

• Course Fee: On request
  The course fee covers: Transportation to/from station pointed in Jakarta to/from the training center at Cilegon, Banten, stand by Paramedic, student’s workbook, usage of training equipments, certificate/ID card and lunch on day of training. All prices exclude PPN 10%.
  
  
• Course Equipment:
  Samson Tiara will provide coveralls, shower kits (towel, soap and shampoo), water shoes, safety glasses, safety helmet and safety shoes for fire fighting practical, except personal swimming suits or shorts for water exercises during practical.
  
  
• Certificate:
  All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive
  • A PT Samson Tiara / Survival Systems Asia certificate approved by OPITO for Tropical - Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (T-HUET) - Course Code 5195; and
  • A laminated wallet course qualification card.
