Travel Safely by Boat / Boat Transfer - Course Code 1004

• Scope:
  This course is designed for all personnel who are required to travel by boat to and from an offshore installation. The program which is offered as a stand alone course or as an additional module to the TBOSIET covers the necessary theoretical information on:
  • preparation prior to traveling,
  • traveling to and from an offshore installation,
  • responding to boat emergencies as well as a practical assessment of transfer between a simulated boat deck and a simulated fixed installation deck using swing ropes.
    
    
• General Course Objectives:
  During the course delegates will gain a basic level of understanding and awareness of safety and emergency procedures associated with traveling by boat and safely transferring to or from an offshore installation.

• Course Requirements:
  All delegates must be in possession of a valid medical certificate. Travel Safely by Boat course should be attended during or after a T-BOSIET course.
  
  
• Course Venue:
  PT. Samson Tiara’s training center, Cilegon, Banten
  
  
• Course Fee: On request
  The course fee covers: Transportation to/from station pointed in Jakarta to/from the training center at Cilegon, Banten, usage of training equipments, certificate/ID card, OPITO registration and lunch on days of training. All prices exclude PPN 10%.
  
  
• Course Equipment:
  PT Samson Tiara will provide coverall, shower kits (towel, soap and shampoo), water shoes, safety glasses, safety helmet and safety shoes for fire fighting practical, except personal swimming suits or shorts for water exercises during practical.
  
  
• Certificate:
  All persons who successfully complete the course based on the performance standards will receive
  • A PT Samson Tiara / Survival Systems Asia certificate approved by OPITO for Travel Safely by Boat / Boat Transfer - Course Code 1004; and
  • A laminated wallet course qualification card.
